Amulet Ring, Silver Beard Set Runestone from Järvsta at GävleAmulet rings were important in Scandinavia before and during the Viking Age. They consisted out of a ring in which different charms and amulets were hung. The amulets had different shapes ranging from sickles and fire steels to rings, axes and Thor's Hammers.
